Originally from East Tennessee, I learned music at an early age from sitting on back porches and listening to some of the best pickers that the foothills had to offer. This sparked me to pick up my first guitar and teach myself to play. From an early age, I knew I wanted to use my gift to reach people and tell them about God. Lots of open and closed doors later, I found myself studying music and theology at the University of Mobile, in Mobile, Alabama, where I was able to continue sharpening my talents by playing with some of the best musicians the college had to offer. I spent many great years traveling all of the country doing exactly what I had set out to do. Currently, I am serving as one of the Worship Pastors of a cutting edge church in South Florida, where I lead for both of the churches campuses. I have a strong passion to mentor and develop young guitarists and other musicians, teaching them to own their art and their instrument. Remembering back to my days as a young kid with a guitar and a dream to make an impact, I can't think of anything better to be doing with my life.
