Erin Elyse Jeffreys, the powerhouse behind Elyse Therose, became hooked on music at the tender age of 12. By 16, the multi-instrumentalist was singing, playing guitar, bass, trumpet, and drums, crafting her own songs, and collaborating with friends and fellow musicians, laying the foundation for a lifelong love affair.
Years later, while playing bass in an Illinois music festival, she became inspired to strike out on her own as a singer/songwriter—thus, birthing the idea for Elyse Therose.
Upon writing, practicing, and recording demos in her parents' spare bedroom, Elyse Therose hit the Northwest Florida music scene.
Since, Elyse Therose has won band battle competitions, was featured in a high-definition concert series for television, received radio airplay, performed nationally, and shared the stage / opened for many nationally-touring recording artists like the Gin Blossoms, Cursive, and Brooke Fraser to name a few.
In 2014, Jeffreys ventured to New York City to work with producer Jeremy SH Griffith at Singing Serpent Studios. Together, the two crafted and polished her self-titled EP spanning multiple genres from pop-laced indie to grunge rock.
The EP is available for download and listen on the Elyse Therose Bandcamp page, iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Rhapsody, Google play, Myspace Music, Sony Music Unlimited, and iHeart Radio.
Erin plays both solo acoustic performances and with a live rock band. Currently, she plays the Breedlove Atlas Series AJ250/SF Plus.
Jeffreys' on Breedlove guitars:
"I love the clarity and depth of tone of my Breedlove. The craftsmanship is outstanding. Even up against top name brands that cost hundreds more, the quality can seldom be matched."
