Last week Breedlove Artist, Franchot Tone, recorded a live version of “By Your Side” on his porch in Topanga Canyon. He enlisted the help of his neighbor/percussionist Davey Chegwidden to lay down the groove. Davey happened to be in town between tours holding down the drumming seat for Brett Dennen. They captured the song in one take with no rehearsals. “By Your Side” is the album closer on Franchot's Debut release “Thanks For This” which is currently available using the link below. Franchot is captured playing his main axe – a Breedlove OM. The guitar was recorded direct using the LR Baggs Anthem pickup. Video was filmed by Los Angeles Director Andre Welsh and audio was recorded by Grammy Winning Engineer Josh “Cartier” Cutsinger.
