New Instrument Feature: Oregon Series Burst Guitars

Gorgeous semi-gloss Whiskey Burst adds a visual depth to these two acclaimed instruments

Breedlove Guitars is excited to unveil the Whiskey Burst finish option for its Oregon Series acoustic guitars. The Dreadnought Burst and the Concert Burst take two of Breedlove’s most celebrated, Oregon-made instruments and impart a dramatic Whiskey Burst finish to complement their striking tone.

The new Oregon Dreadnought Burst and Concert Burst models offer the same solid-wood construction that has made the Oregon Series so desirable: locally sourced, solid myrtlewood for the back and sides; a Sitka spruce top; hard rock maple for the neck and ebony fretboard. LR Baggs electronics ensure a plugged-in sound that accurately reproduces each model’s distinctive voice.

The Dreadnought Burst delivers the same stout projection synonymous with Breedlove dreadnoughts, with the myrtlewood providing lively tone that has midrange richness and depth and outstanding clarity. The Concert Burst provides all-around balance, with well-rounded tone that also embraces the dynamic nature of myrtlewood. The Whiskey Burst finish now provides another visual option for players pursuing an instrument that looks as unique as it sounds.

And don't forget our most popular series gets a new addition for our 25th Anniversary celebration.  Built off Breedlove’s innovative concert body and including a piece of the Kim Breedlove inspired 25th Anniversary inlay the Oregon Concert CE 25th includes a full gloss whisky burst. The concert body generates wonderfully articulate range of tone with an ample low end that is never boomy.  It is engineered to provide exception sustain with a pronounced bass response.
