Overview

Phoenix Guitars

The precise craftsmanship of the Breedlove Phoenix model guitar is only slightly shadowed by the delightful sound that it creates.  With a top of Redwood and back and sides of Ziricote, this guitar blends these exotic woods together to create an instrument that is incredibly responsive.  The piano-like tone has a deep bass character that is powerful but not overbearing.  The shallow body Concert shape has a Master Class Bloodwood binding package that compliments the intricate Abalone, Bloodwood, and Gold Pearl inlay of a Phoenix on the neck.  The soft satin neck is hand rubbed fine grained Mahogany with an Ebony fingerboard, bridge and peghead overlay.  This instrument is a phenomenal choice for fingerstyle players as well as light strummers and is sure to impress in any venue.

"When I opened the case and I saw this beautiful piece of work laying in it, I couldn't help but fall in love. I have never laid hands on such an incredible instrument, one that plays just as well as it looks. The redwood is absolutely gorgeous, and ziricote is indescribeable. The sound is crisp but with the warmth of redwood. The folks at Breedlove really outdid themselves with this! I know I'll have this guitar for the rest of my life. Thank you Breedlove!!"

"I have loved your guitars ever since I can remember. I toured your factory once, and I still remember it - was a visit to a magical place being a guitar player and woodworker. I am playing more finger style now so I bought an Master Class from Apple Music in Portland. I now have it at home, and I have picked it up at least four different times today to play it. Simply amazing, although in many ways there is nothing simple about it. The more I play it, the more my amazement of how fine an instrument I have chosen. I am hopelessly spoiled! I am in awe.
