When a builder like Breedlove partners with the likes of L.R. Baggs, odds are it’s going to be an “all superlatives on deck” situation. Breedlove Voice guitars come equipped with the L.R. Baggs Anthem Tru-Voice pickup (as well as an EQ installed especially for the Breedlove version), and the Sitka spruce tops are custom voiced to take full advantage of the technology. Voicing means the braces are shaved to allow the vibrations of the top to be controlled in a very specific way. The Anthem Tru-Voice pickup mounts a hair’s-breadth from the bridgeplate, and captures what a guitar sounds like with phenomenal accuracy. Spring Limited Edition C25/RB The craftsmen at Breedlove Guitars have produced another outstanding instrument in this Brazilian Rosewood concert body guitar. This model run is Limited to only 5 pieces. This soft cutaway Concert model guitar is meticulously made, skillfully combining Brazilian Rosewood for the back, and sides and Redwood for the top. The soft satin neck is hand rubbed fine grained Mahogany with an Ebony fingerboard, bridge and a Brazilian Rosewood peghead overlay. Bound in breathtaking crimson colored Master Class Bloodwood with Abalone top purfling, this guitar also features an Abalone spoked rosette. On the fretboard you will find a very intricate Mother-of-Pearl and Abalone inlay inspired by the McKenzie river. The saddle and nut are made of bone.
