TWO OLD HIPPIES/BREEDLOVE/BEDELL ANNOUNCES FACTORY RELOCATION
Bend, Or – Two Old Hippies is pleased to announce the relocation of their US factory to a new location in Bend, Oregon. US production and distribution of Breedlove and Bedell guitars will move from their current location on Lolo Drive, to new facilities just off Reed Market Road.
The move stems from current and future growth opportunities for this custom guitar manufacturer. The increased space and improved work flow of the new facilities will be essential in continuing to maximize production of Breedlove and Bedell guitars, while remaining in Bend, Oregon.
Owner Tom Bedell emphasizes, "We want to be good community citizens in Bend. We are excited to be building our business in Bend and appreciate all of the support of the local community and the State of Oregon. This new building will allow us to gain further efficiency in our workshop and better service our worldwide customers. We are amazed with the craftsmanship of the co-hippies in Bend and the exceptional business environment."
Breedlove has been building acoustic guitars since 1990. Carefully melding time-tested traditional methods with modern engineering and ingenuity, Breedlove builds some of the most exquisite acoustic instruments in the world.
Bedell Guitars are the culmination of Tom Bedell’s lifelong passion for music. Originally offered in 1964, Tom has returned to his first love of musical instruments to produce the current offering of Bedell Guitars.
The move is expected to begin in stages this June, with the factory being fully operational by August.
