Atlas Stage Series

Let’s take a closer look at the “Stage” category and what improvements and changes have been made.

Weight reduction and flexibility- Internal bracing has been re-configured and scalloped to have less mass, therefore absorbing less acoustic energy. This provides enhanced bass and treble, giving the Stage Atlas guitars an even range of sound. This new design also increases volume and projection. At Breedlove we believe one gram of weight equals 1 decibel of sound and they were able to shave off 15 grams! Therefore these guitars are up to 15 decibels louder than the previous Atlas Series!

Improved Aesthetics - Atlas Stage guitars are ready to reflect lights with a high gloss finish and have added touches like new abalone inlay patterns and body binding.

New Electronics- Developing the Stage Pro pickup and pre-amp was a 5-year project between Breedlove and L.R. Baggs. The result is the L.R. Baggs Stage Pro. The Stage Pro offers notch and phase switches, excellent sound balance between pole pieces and a built-in tuner with an auto-mute function. The pickup element used in the Stage Pro has been used in other L.R. Baggs systems and has won multiple acoustic players awards. We’ve complimented the electronics by designing the Stage Atlas to resist on-stage feedback.
