Al Manfredi

Al Manfredi

Born in Syracuse NY in 1966. Al’s early experience in music started in  grade school playing percussions, choir class, and sneaking his older brothers Gibson when he wasn’t looking and jamming to Black Sabbath and The Stones. By his mid teenage years it was very clear that Manfredi was hooked on guitar, playing between classes in school and after school private lessons. Before the age of 17, Al had become a very talented young guitarist.  By his early 20’s, he wanted to perform and he set aside the 6 string to play bass to full fill his rock-n-roll dream and take his chances on the road in a professional southern rock band, Dakota .

Now with over 25 years of live entertainment experience. Manfredi in his early years has performed as a Bassist in many professional bands that have opened for acts like Molly Hatchet, The Outlaws and John Anderson. After touring for 20 years and countless hours of recording time, it was time to let life take a full circle turn back to the 6 string, where it all started and to begin his solo acoustic rock adventure.

Feeding the acoustic rock beast with Manfredi’s Heavy Metal background, he has developed a smoking hot acoustic rock song list covering  Led Zeppelin, Alice In Chains, Breaking Benjamin, System of a Down and many others that has also inspired him to start creating some originals that will be ready to reveal in late 2014 .
