Christi Green

Christi Green is a full time musician/composer/songwriter covering a wide variety of musical genres.

She studied music formally at Pacific Lutheran University, (WA) and Boise State University, (ID). Christi graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Guitar performance and a Master of Music in Classical Guitar performance from BSU. She is also a graduate of the Conservatory of Arts and Sciences, (AZ) where she studied sound engineering.

Christi has been a professional musician for over 30 years, gigging as a guitarist, vocalist, and electric bassist. She has backed noted musicians including Brian Hodel, Little Eva, and The Diamonds. She recently retired her position as the guitarist and female vocalist for the nostalgia big band well known throughout the region, The Kings Of Swing. Christi performs regularly as soloist and in bands including her own band: Christi Green And The Jazz Gents.

Christi is the guitar instructor for the College Of Idaho (Caldwell, ID) and maintains a private teaching studio where she works with a select group of students either live or over the internet. She is the author of Fretboard Theory A Chordal Approach and A Time Management Guide For The Practicing Musician. Christi also has an online guitar course with over 150 instruction videos. Christi is an active lecturer and composer. Many of her guitar works have been placed in prime time shows including America’s Got Talent, Growing Up Baby Kenadie and many more.
