Danny Malooly, a singer/songwriter currently living in Texas, has had the opportunity to study, perform, and teach music throughout his career. He began making music his profession building up and training youth bands in the Dallas/Fort Worth area shortly after graduating high school. After studying music at Collin College with a focus in Jazz Studies, Danny became proficient in Music Theory and has learned many different playing styles and genres. This collegiate training has allowed Danny to adapt and flow with many musicians as a session player as well as a solo act. Upon moving to the Bryan/College Station area, he began teaching music at the Brazos Arts Music School as a Senior Instructor teaching guitar, piano, bass, voice, and thoery (teaching over 40 lessons a week). As well as teaching, Danny keeps a steady booking of shows around the area as well as in other parts of Texas. Most recently he is touring with the Daniel Gonzales Band, an alternative-rock band based out of the Bryan/College Staiton area, as lead guitarist and back-up vocalist.
While Danny's Progressive Rock, Jazz, and Blues influences are what drives his solo work, he plays just about every style he can including: Latin Jazz, R&B, Soul, Alternative Rock, Hip Hop/Pop, and many others. He is constantly looking to push his musical abilities and provide unique sounds and lyrics to his listeners.
"I have been playing the same Breedlove guitar for my entire musical career, and nothing compares to the sound and playability that this brand offers. When I think of tone, I think Breedlove." - Danny
