KF (2012) Mandolins

The K series of Breedlove mandolins became an instant classic.  Through the mind and hands of Kim Breedlove, the traditional Florentine shape has been transformed into a more modern, less frilly version of itself.  Sticking with the traditional F-holes, the American KF has a Sitka Spruce top and Flamed Big Leaf Maple back and sides.    The asymmetrical design lends itself to an open, full sound, making the KF perfect for styles ranging from Classical to Celtic Music. With fantastic sustain and unmatched projection, this mandolin will shine in a Bluegrass setting and beyond.  The clear satin finish highlights the natural beauty of the woods.  A radiused fingerboard and oversize frets make Breedlove mandolins extremely comfortable to play.
