The smooth vocal harmony and driven sound of new Country Music duo Austin’s Rose is comprised of Taylor Cornilles and Tim Gore.

Austin’s Rose is music from the heart. With so many changes in the music industry in today’s world, it’s hard to find artists like Austin’s Rose who have honed in on their craft, know exactly who they are, how they want their music to sound, and what they want their lyrics to say. With over 30 years of live performance between the two of them, Austin’s Rose has found major success in its short life.

Taylor spent her younger years on her parents’ 80-acre horse ranch in the hills of Southern Oregon. Touring the pacific coast and most of the western region of the continental United States with the family band was “normal” for her ever since she was 10 years old. She plays the fiddle, guitar, piano and mandolin and wrote her first song when she was 12 years old. Her love of Traditional country music has always been prominent. She’s gained inspiration from artists such as Alison Krauss, Patty Loveless, Merle Haggard, and Elvis Presley. She graduated high school early, and a week after she turned 18 made a b-line for Nashville.

“It’s easy to share the stage with someone who possesses the talent she does. She covers all my mistakes,” Tim laughs. “Neither one of us have huge egos. We both believe in our music, and are very proud of each other, but we never get over confident or make selfish decisions. I think that’s what makes this work.”

Tim was born in Dallas Texas, but grew up in Corbin Kentucky. While he was growing up, his love for music and basketball came hand in hand. But living in a small town always drove him to do bigger and better things. Tim plays guitar, and has a huge catalog of songs that he has written through the years. His influences are some such as Jim Croce, Joe cocker, Travis Tritt, and Conway Twitty. He later moved to Lexington Kentucky and played 4-5 shows a week building a loyal fan base and years of on-stage experience to prepare him for the next step. He then graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelors Degree and headed straight to Nashville to pursue his dream of music.

“Tim is the most talented songwriter I have met since I moved to town.” Says Taylor. “I just love that he is driven by experiences and obstacles he has been able to overcome- and see that passion and strength be poured into a song and brought to life. That’s what people are going to connect with. That’s what I have connected with.”

While seeing success in many areas of “the” dream, Tim and Taylor have always strived to keep their vision on the “real thing”. “I’ve always wanted to put together a product of good music that would be marketable in an industry that is saturated with so many artists doing the same thing,” Tim said of Austin’s Rose. “What’s so great about (Austin’s Rose) is it wasn’t forced.  We just did a gig together and we both instantly felt the magic. “Neither of us really had a lot of experience singing harmony, because we’ve been solo artists the majority of our careers, but it just came natural. To this day when we write songs we just somehow figure it out.” They figured a lot of it out with their self-titled debut album “Austin’s Rose”.  With songs like “Us” and “Just Breathe” you can not only hear the blend of Taylor and Tim’s voices, but you can feel the passion and connection the two have for one another and their music.

Taylor adds, “We want to give our fans something to look up to. Tim and I wake up everyday and give our best effort to live in a good example to others and in a vision of our Heavenly Father. We want our music to show the gift of life, and blessings of love and not always the everyday struggle. It’s easy to feel lost. We hope our music gives our fans, as well as us, a direction and a sort of positive influence in everything from our lyrics to how we dress.”

Once they were both solo artists wondering around the streets of Nashville searching for some kind of sign. Now they are driven, focused, and hungry to make their dreams come true together. With a deep faith in religion, support from family and friends, a strong social media presence, and a loyal fan base that craves for their music, along with their success, the possibilities and power of this team is limitless.

“Playing over 200 shows a year, writing music, and recording we depend on Breedlove equipment daily. Between the quality of sound and durability Breedlove is a great choice for any type of musician. We are proud to be apart of the Breedlove family!”
