Guitarist, composer, singer, songwriter and arranger, John has six albums to his credit, all produced at his own, Taylor Street Studios.
His highly acclaimed work as a composer and arranger has led him down many paths; he is currently a regular contributor of original music to the television show “The Mentalist” on CBS. He has released several CDs, the most recent of which is “Looper,” a representative work of his live performances. All sounds on “Looper” were created on his Breedlove guitar.
His virtuosity as a guitarist has thrice accorded him the honor of being voted Best Musician on the Monterey Peninsula. In the words of Mac McDonald of the Monterey County Herald, “And I’ll say this again, John Sherry is a marvel, one of the finest guitar slingers in the area.”
John performs annually at prestigious events, including The Tiger Woods Foundation Golf Tournament at Pebble Beach; The Concours d’Elegance, for Bentley Motors, USA and Audi, USA; and the world-renowned Pebble Beach Food & Wine Festival.
John’s regular gig is House Guitarist at The Clement Monterey, an InterContinental luxury hotel located on historic Cannery Row, where several days a week guests from all over the world are amazed at his acoustic guitar looping performances.
