Kemosabe Records singer-songwriter, Christian Burghardt releases the music video for his debut single, “Safe Place To Land” today. The video stars pro-surfer Quincy Davis playing Christian’s opposite in the video as well a pro-surfer Bruna Schmitz.
Burghardt possesses all the qualities a fan of guitar driven pop could want: a rich, soulful voice with loads of texture; heartfelt, deeply personal lyrics; bright, nimble guitar playing, and a relatable, amiable presence to deliver it all. Writer-producer Dr. Luke saw this clearly when he signed Burghardt to his Sony Music imprint Kemosabe Records in partnership with RCA Records.
Last fall, Burghardt released his EP Safe Place To Land and toured with American Idol winner Phillip Phillips and various dates with Gavin DeGraw and Matt Nathanson. Burghardt is currently in the studio writing and recording his debut album which is set to be released later this year. He is working with songwriter and producer Gregg Wattenberg (Train, Phillip Phillips), Derek Fuhrmann (Phillip Phillips, O.A.R.), and up-and-comer Josh Grant (Shawn Mendes). “Safe Place To Land” is currently rising up the charts.
