Formed by guitarist/producer Rylee McDonald and Drummer Mike Lofgreen in 2009, Advent Horizons’ music is difficult to place within a single genre. Fans of Progressive Rock, Grunge, new wave, funk, and metal will all find common ground in 2011s “Immured” or 2015s “Stagehound”.
Being the passion project of musicians who spend the majority of their time touring with other acts, Advent Horizon is totally independent of oversight from any label or management, which allows the music to represent pure creative expression with no limitations and no expectations.
Advent Horizon’s 3rd full-length album is in production. While an official release date has yet to be announced, the album is expected to drop towards the end of 2021.
