A realization being explored by Bergenfield, NJ-based alternative singer/songwriter aReJay Ella. A life-long violinist, aReJay picked up the acoustic guitar at the turn of his high school career, and began the journey of finding his voice, pursuing music on his own terms, and crafting an expression all his own, all the while exploring self-actualization, romance, and the beauty of life.

A violinist turned singer/songwriter, his musical expression is gentle, graceful, and nostalgic, drawing from the introspective songwriting of artists like City & Colour, and John Mayer, and grounded by his love of Alternative Rock music of bands like Death Cab for Cutie, and MAE. His passionate voice, and his earnest songwriting carries with it a promise to live in the moment, and to appreciate what is.

To date, aReJay has released 3 studio albums, “Love Music & You,” “Feels Like Home,” and “Somnium,” all of which were produced and recorded at The JB Cave by LA-based producer Jesse Barrera. Most recently he’s released 5 singles. Two of which were produced by Queens, NY based producer, Ryan Mitchell Grey and the remaining three singles produced by Jesse Barrera.

He’s performed at a number of notable NYC venues including The Bitter End, The Bowery Electric, and Rockwood Music Hall, where he opened for Ryan Mitchell Grey. He’s also played in many great NJ venues, including The Stone Pony, Maxwell’s, and The Bergen Performing Arts Center where he played to a sold-out audience as an opener for Filipina Singer and Recording Artist Regine Velasquez. Most recently, aReJay took the opportunity to explore new audiences, performing downtown LA at the Hotel Indigo alongside fellow Bergenfield, NJ native singer/songwriter Alfa.
