Brian Howell | The Pollen Collective

I am Brian Howell and I am the bass player for The Pollen Collective.  As mentioned in the band biography, my musical roots are in punk rock and hardcore.  I played in a couple of fairly known bands of that genre: Triggerman and No For An Answer, both out of Orange County, CA, in the late 1980s to early 1990s.  I have been fortunate enough to have played with bands like The Offspring, Pennywise, Rage Against the Machine, Guttermouth, and Sensfield just to name a few.  Having a background in that genre of music has made playing Americana/Folk type music very interesting, to say the least! It’s nice to finally play music my mom and dad can come to enjoy, hahaha!  I truly enjoy what I am doing now, I feel like this is my best life as a musician.  We have played close to two hundred gigs in three years.  I get so much joy out of the music and people’s reactions to it.
