A multi-styled musician and songwriter crossing over in different genres of music, Chris’s love for music is reflected in his passionate guitar playing and song-writing no matter how simple or complex the music may be.
Raised and rooted in rock as a child in the heartland of the U.S., his pursuit of music led him at a young age from his home in Iowa City, Iowa to Los Angeles, California where he quickly expanded into jazz-fusion; funk/R&B; gospel, and more studying and playing with some of the very best.
Comfortable both on electric and acoustic guitar, Chris has played, performed, toured, and recorded both as a side-man and in various groups he founded. You can hear examples of the diversity of both his playing and songwriting reflected in the hard-rock album of his group ‘Thief in the Night’ (check out the album ‘Under the Influence’) to the Gospel/R&B/Jazz playing with ‘Cliff Young & Living Sacrifice’ and now with the Contemporary Worship group ‘Revival Ranch’ founded in 2020 (check out ‘Beautiful Savior’, ‘You Rescue Me’ & more).
