A move to Los Angeles at 21 years old was a life-altering experience for Dallas Greene. However, not in the way she or anyone expected. Dallas had left Western New York for Southern California in pursuit of her dream of becoming an auteur; and returned to her hometown of Rochester a songwriter.
Dallas’s songs channel emotional honesty, catchy melodies, and the lyrics of a poet with a heart on her sleeve. Most of her music resides in an indie-folk, soft rock, pop sound, interlaced with thoughtful melodies and dulcet harmonies that caress the heart and soul.
Since her return to upstate New York, Dallas has made her mark on the local music scene becoming a regular performer at many staple venues in the area. She has hosted the weekly Singer/Songwriter Showcase at The Daily Refresher, performed at the annual Park Ave festival which draws around 250,000 people, and started a live session YouTube page, Flower City Sessions, to help showcase the other incredible talent in the area. In May of 2020, Dallas released her debut EP entitled “The Distance Between”.
