Jason is a passionate and driven musician, based in State College PA, striving to create and deliver unique musical experiences that transcend traditional industry standards and bring innovative performances to the State College area.
A musician and entertainer from the early age of 5, Jason has dedicated over two decades to hands on training and live performances. He has found success in all facets of music and art, bands, orchestras, choirs, musical theater and even ballet. But the pinnacle of his love for music is composition and songwriting. While attending The Pennsylvania State University for a B.A. in vocal performance Jason spent his free time experimenting with the guitar and composing his own music.
Fast forward to the present, Jason is the Director of Music at Albright Bethune UMC and the manager of local music store The Music Mart. He performs regularly and teaches private music lessons in voice, guitar, ukulele, piano, and theory/ songwriting. He is the host of multiple monthly local open mic nights and founder of the original music feature series “ From The Source” dedicated to promoting local singer songwriters. He moves forward with confidence that original music culture can flourish in his home town and the world.
With singles released and a solo acoustic debut album coming in 2019, through partnership with Breedlove, Jason is equipped with a custom Redwood top Myrtlewood back and sides jumbo six string. A guitar cannon of deep resonance and warmth, the ocean on which Jason’s melodious stories sail to the ears of listeners. He composes from the heart, finding catharsis from life lessons and relationships. An enthusiastic performer ready to share and grow with his audience. His music is rock and folk steeped in a melting pot of his eclectic influences and vast performance background.
