A native of the great Pacific Northwest, John Stuthard is an active worship leader, pastor, songwriter, recording artist, and speaker. Over the years, John has lead worship at sporting arenas, concert halls, churches, worship events, intimate living rooms, and just about everywhere in between.
Over 25 years of ministry, John’s life passion has remained constant- seeing people connect with God through the avenue of worship music. John says, “Music is a universal language that God uses to speak to our hurting human core. I love it when a powerful song of hope, healing, or salvation impacts our hearts and brings us to a place of surrender and healing with Jesus!”
According to John, Breedlove guitars continue to play a significant role as his musical, spiritual journey unfolds. Back in 2008, John approached Breedlove with the hope they would make him a special Custom Shop Revival Series Dreadnaught for him to lead with. And Breedlove didn’t disappoint. All these years later, it is still his favorite guitar. “I have other acoustic guitars but have never found another guitar that has equaled my Breedlove in sound and playability. Once you pick up this guitar, you never want to put it down.”
As an active songwriter and recording artist, John loves how well his Breedlove guitar records and performs in the studio. On his latest 2019 release “Echoes”, John’s Breedlove guitar was on many of the tracks. His upcoming 2021 worship release will be no different, with Breedlove tones ringing throughout the recordings.
After living out of state the last few years, John returned home to beautiful Bend, Oregon with his wife, 3 kids, and two massive dogs. “It just feels like we have come full circle. Being back in Bend, I wanted to gain another Breedlove for future worship leading, recording, and taking to events. And I also wanted to reconnect with my roots and favorite guitar company again. They have been an important part of my journey.” John leads worship most weekends at Creation Church in Bend and is also an active worship clinician.
