Josiah Everhart is a singer and guitarist with roots in the weathered shores of the Oregon coast. Using untraditional tunings combined with fingerstyle picking, he plays his guitar like a synthesizer, evoking unique sounds and chord voicings. Josiah’s music has reached a large audience online, especially on his YouTube channel, Spotify, and Twitch. He’s known for his lyrical arrangements of video game music, as well as his original music, such as his album Yearn in Years.
His band, OrcaMind (formed with singer Michelle Heafy) is a crossover-progressive indie rock group that has found success both online and on the stage. The band live streams performances of their music daily on Twitch. They were featured at the esteemed venue Velour Live Music Gallery for their new band showcase, as well as Velour’s Battle of the Bands. OrcaMind is the opening act for Matthew K. Heafy of Trivium for the annual Metal & Honey charity concert, benefitting music therapy for children.
