Kate Larson grew up in the Rocky Mountains and at the age of seven, moved to Chicago, where she began performing. Her first solo onstage performance was in Nashville, Tennessee, at twelve years old. Not much later, she started writing her own songs and performing for all who would listen. She says “music has a way of filling up space, spaces we didn’t even know were empty. It’s so special when people can find a little bit of themself inside of these songs.”
She is a vocalist, instrumentalist, and songwriter, who carries a deep passion for the stories told through music. Years later, she continues to perform music for her community, including local music festivals and events like her high school graduation. When she’s not onstage, Kate helps out around the greater Chicago area and is now a crew member for the same youth music festival where she previously performed.
To this day, Kate continues to find new ways to express her passion for art and music, and values connecting with other artists both on and off the stage.
