Growing up in Nashville, TN, Luke Denison was surrounded by music from day one. His parents forced him to take piano lessons at the age of six but as is normal in Nashville, other instruments found their way into his home – and his heart. In high school, Luke took up guitar as his main tool of the trade and began playing in churches across Nashville as well as writing his own music which he performed around the city. However, it wasn’t until college that Luke began to fully pursue music as a career. Studying musical theater at Indiana University, he was exposed to the power of an honest story and began to shift the focus of his musical pursuits to writing songs and producing original music. In 2015 he was nominated for an LGL regional Emmy after writing 15 original songs for PBS’ The Friday Zone, a children’s TV series that runs through the Midwest. Subsequently, he moved to New York City to pursue his music and writing in a new and diverse marketplace.

Since moving to NYC Luke has toured the northeast opening for country acts such as Chase Rice, Ashley Mcbryde, Adam Doleac, and Walker Hayes. Luke can regularly be seen playing throughout the region on his own, or with his friend and counterpart Carolyn Miller. In 2009 Luke was given a Breedlove D25/SRe which is still his choice guitar to this day. In 2019 Luke released his debut EP “Playing You” which he hopes you will listen to and enjoy as much as he enjoyed making it.
