Singer-Songwriter, Producer, Guitarist, Lynn Frances Anderson has been a Breedlove Artist for over two decades with over 52 original songs recorded on four full-length recordings, and countless more written.

Based in Portland, Oregon, Anderson is known for her rich and sultry voice, and an articulate guitar style played with her exquisite Breedlove guitars.

Since her first release in 1997 titled, “My Famous Friend”, Anderson has performed and recorded with premier musicians. Widely known and highly respected musicians who have joined Anderson include iconic guitarist, Jennifer Batten (Jeff Beck/Michael Jackson); drummer, Tony “TC” Coleman (BB King); legendary violinist, Scarlet Rivera (Bob Dylan, Keb Mo); mandolin/fiddle virtuoso, Joe Craven (Jerry Garcia, David Grisman); and slide master, Kirby Kelley (Bugs Henderson).

Lynn has headlined music festivals and toured with a band, solo, duo and as the opener for All the King’s Men – B.B. King’s band members led by BB’s drummer, Tony Coleman. Anderson has enjoyed national and international airplay on adult contemporary stations.

In addition to Breedlove, Anderson holds endorsements with Shubb capos, AUDIX microphones & headphones (new line in 2021), Jodi Head Guitar Straps, Access Bags & Cases, Fishman Electronics, and Cordial Cables. , and AUDIX microphones & their new 2021 line of headphones.

Anderson is featured in the book, Girls Rock!: Fifty Years of Women Making Music.

Her spiritual foundation is central to her life and work. Anderson has studied various healing modalities. She has worked alongside Native American elders, Medicine Women, an Irish Shaman, metaphysical healers, and Zen Buddhist Monk, Thich Nhat Hanh. She has donated her time and talent for causes such as medical research for cures for multiple sclerosis, cancer, and AIDS. She has also produced benefit concerts for cancer survivors and young women’s music education.

An unexpected turn of events caused an unplanned hiatus following the release of One Fine Day, but her musical family, especially Jennifer Batten and Tony Coleman, urged Anderson back into the spotlight. Still performing with her cherished Breedlove Master Class acoustics, Anderson has transformed personally and musically. Her emerging new style is an expansion of Anderson’s existing roots-rock vibe incorporated in songs like “The River” and “Road to New Orleans”, and broadens to classic covers and new material in a new Country-Americana, Roots/Rock-Blues mash-up.

The pandemic of 2020 which halted touring for every musician in the world, led Anderson to partner behind the scenes with Jennifer Batten to launch Batten’s guitar mastery program, Guitar Cloud Symposium which has already reached over 1.5 million people.

In 2021, Anderson brings her Songwriters in the Round online for live streaming events. Live events to follow!

Lynn is currently serving as a Commissioner on the Beaverton Arts Commission where the new Patricia Reser Center for the Arts, a world–class 550-seat multidisciplinary arts center, is under construction; slated to open in late 2021.
