22 year old, singer/ songwriter Matthew Conrad performed his first original song at the age of five in front of his local church. Matthew took piano lessons at the age of eight and explored other instruments on his own. By the age of 15, Matthew was a self-taught guitar player.
Although he learned at such a young age, his love and passion for music didn’t shine through until after high school. In high school, he became involved in choir and the worship team at his church. It was here where his passion for songwriting grew. The turning point for Matthew Conrad was the summer of 2017 when he performed an original song at church camp. At that moment, he knew he wanted to pursue music further.
With musical inspirations like Mack Brock, Chris Tomlin, and Cory Asbury, Matthew strives to create modern worship music. His songs hold authenticity and Truth while also holding memorable melodies.
Releasing his debut single “Frontlines” in 2020, Matthew hopes to continue writing and releasing as much as possible while also pursuing his degree in psychology and athletic training. A man of many passions, Matthew strives to create his own home studio where he can record his own music as well as help others achieve their music goals. One day, Matthew hopes to be touring full time and spreading the love of Jesus.
