Rony Feliz’s passion started when he was 9 years old and accidentally figured out how to turn a pair of headphones into a microphone. From that point he was obsessed with everything that had to do with music, from performing to capturing sounds. His distinctive musical palette ranges from Hip-Hop and R&B to funk, reggae, Latin, Gospel and everything in between. His influences are definitely noticeable in all of the music he’s produced and written which gives him a trademark of crossing over genres. Being active from a young age, both in the studio and on stage, Rony has performed for more than 25,000 people on stage when Pope Benedict XVI came to visit NYC in 2008. Performed in front of the Sydney Opera House steps in Australia with more than 5,000 people in attendance that same year. He then got his feet wet in local venues like The Bitter End, and Rockwood music hall in NYC. He’s always found a way to be involved in the music process from performing, to writing, to engineering. Wanting to further his passion, Rony went to SAE Institute of Technology and Mercy College for Music and Technology. Not too long after graduating SAE and attending Mercy, Rony was picked up to go on tour in 2017 as an engineer for Mr. 305 himself, Pitbull. Since then, he has been on the road with Pitbull traveling the world and experiencing how music really brings everyone together. When he’s not on the road with Pitbull, you can catch him in the studio, on stage or conferences as a guest speaker for youth and young adults to try to inspire them to pursue their dreams. In September of 2019 he opened a Studio in Jersey City, NJ and plans to bring all of those experiences from the road into his work as a producer and engineer. He plans to collaborate with the many friends he’s made along the way to ”connect the dots” and start a movement locally with a new sound. ”I was born to do this”, says Rony. “Music Is where my Passion meets its Purpose.”
