Shawn has been performing and writing music for almost 30 years! He has spent his whole life surrounded by entertainment including an opera singer for a mother and a father who was a fitness pioneer (former Mr. America/Mr. Universe/Body Building Hall of Famer) who later did shows with Mae West and Debbie Reynolds. His father also preached health and nutrition in nationwide school assemblies and made television and film appearances for more than thirty years.

Shawn began playing guitar at the early age of nine growing up in Bellingham, Washington before he relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada where he currently resides and performs regularly as the house entertainment at Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo, The Park on Fremont, Boulevard Cocktail Company, several Stations Casino properties, the Commonwealth and numerous other Vegas hot spots. He recently returned from an unbelievable Winter in Vail, Colorado

He has won a couple world-wide songwriting contests, had numerous songs placed in TV and Film, and won UNLV’s College Entertainer of the Year award two years in a row. In 1994, he won a Battle of the Bands competition by himself against eleven full-piece bands, been voted the Best Acoustic Guitar Player by Las Vegas CityLife Magazine, and nominated for Father of the Year 20 years in a row at Casa de Eiferman.

Shawn currently rotates three Atlas Series Breedlove guitars. A beautiful black Revival, a big bold burst Revival, and a sexy Solo C350 with an amazing custom paint job by Tommy Vinici.

Shawn says repeatedly that his “Breedloves are the most reliable, best sounding, consistent, best playing guitars he’s ever owned in a collection of over 35 from all different companies! Every time I put new strings on them…I fall in love all over again.”

Shawn has played to over 100,000+ at MIX 94.1fm’s Bite of Las Vegas and KKLZ’s Junefest music festivals sharing the stage with Journey, Bad Company, Macy Gray, Franky Perez, Wilshire,  Uncle Cracker, etc. 1st place winner in the 2001 USA Songwriting Contest(rock category)..2nd place overall! In Music magazine calls him an “all-around hip musician and scenester with an extensive repertoire and dynamic stage presence. Catch this guitar playing, joke cracking, rock n roll singing, incredibly talented wild man before he makes it big.” Eiferman brings a sense of humor and breezy competent style to his stage his songwriting is an honest collection of work that puts him above the average entertainer. Featured in Gig (funkiest right hand of any white man in America), L.A. Weekly and Music Connection magazines, being compared to everyone from Dave Mathews, Tonic and Hootie and the Blowfish to Bruce Springsteen and Bob Seger. Performed with and/or opened for Edwin McCain, Hootie and the Blowfish, Sugar Ray, Barenaked Ladies, the Violent Femmes, Sister Hazel, Paula Cole, Sammy Hagar, Pat Benetar, Todd Rundgren, Train, Toby Keith, the Goo Goo Dolls and Guns N Roses, to name a few.

His songwriting has been featured on the WB’s Dawson’s Creek, a Ford Motor Company ad campaign, USA Network’s Farmclub.com TV Show, Canada’s Much Music program Ed The Sock, and many episodes of MTV’s Undressed and Road Rules shows. Shawn’s VH1 debut was on the 2000 Fairway to Heaven, performing with members of Creed, Collective Soul, Bon Jovi, and Backstreet Boy A.J. McLean. Eiferman has a national fan base that stretches north to San Francisco all the way to Atlanta, where he recently performed at the Hard Rock Cafe. Spins on both college and commercial radio and return engagements at clubs, universities and venues all over the country, combined with the release of his new albums periodically should rapidly bring him to the next level of his career and open the doors for a whole new list of future accomplishments.
