Breedlove artist Brett Perkins just released this new music video (above). In the video, he is playing Oregon Concert Bourbon E. Perkins explaind, “I’ve had this particular guitar just over a year and I’m loving it! It’s the most versatile acoustic I’ve played. There are three particular things that have always been a part of Brett’s upbringing: sports, music, and church. From playing year around sports such as baseball, basketball, and football, to weekly Sunday and Wednesday gatherings at church where his dad served as the music director, Brett was always participating in one of the three. At the age of twelve, his dad surprised him with a guitar and challenged him by saying, “I really think you would enjoy this if you put the time into learning how to play it.” Throughout high school, Brett was mainly known for his involvement in sports, but he took ownership of the challenge presented by his dad, along with the 3 chords his dad showed him, and went to work on making the guitar a part of who he was.
