To kick off the new CD launch, John released his newest music video “Silent Night,” which is set to his fresh adaptation of this classic song. John partnered with Sam Kempf of Hoopla Media. Using the song as their backdrop, the video tells the story of a military family’s reunion just in time for Christmas. The blended scenes of community and family compliment this song’s sense of peace. The message here is not only one of love, hope and family, but also a sincere appreciation for the deep sacrifice our service members make. John has a long history of philanthropic endeavors. At this time of giving, he is proud that his art supports Donate Life, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit alliance of national organizations and state teams across the United States committed to increasing organ, eye, and tissue donation. He donates a portion of the proceeds from his music sales to aid Donate Life in these efforts. As a registered donor himself, having lost his mentor to a liver disease before a suitable donor could be found, he is committed to helping Donate Life increase the national registry for organ, tissue and eye donors.
John’s music is all about building positive relationships and he actively supports Young Life, an organization devoted to making a positive impact on the kids in our communities. Having found acceptance, encouragement and support from his leaders by his own involvement in Young Life as a teen, he is pleased to be a part of their continuing efforts to reach out to middle school, high school and college students in friendship and hope.
