Bend, Oregon – Sept 1, 2013 – American Rivers partnered with Grammy nominated The Infamous Stringdusters for the 2013 American Rivers Tour, which wrapped up last week. It was an epic summer music adventure stopping through, and winding down, some of American’s wildest and most beloved rivers and surrounding communities.
In a show of support for the 2013 American Rivers Tour, Breedlove Guitars donated a Breedlove American Roots

Breedlove’s head of artist relations, Ryan Bouslaugh, says, “Free flowing rivers are part of the heritage of the American West, and Breedlove takes this stewardship seriously. We share a belief in conservation and were delighted to be approached by The Infamous Stringdusters to work together on this project.”
The Breedlove Guitar was auctioned off for $2,400 to a Stringdusters fan in Columbia, MD. 100% of the auction proceeds go to support American Rivers’ work to protect and restore rivers throughout the nation.
American Rivers is the leading organization working to protect and restore the nation’s rivers and streams. Rivers connect us to each other, nature, and future generations. Since 1973, American Rivers has fought to preserve these connections, helping protect and restore more than 150,000 miles of rivers through advocacy efforts, on-the-ground projects, and the annual release of America’s Most Endangered Rivers
Known for complex, distinctive, and groove-friendly music with a bluegrass theme, the multi-award winning Infamous Stringdusters emerged in 2007 with the acclaimed album “Fork In The Road”. Along with their latest release, “Silver Sky” and plentiful tour dates, the band remains in high demand as a formidable, groundbreaking live act.
