Breedlove Unveils Revolutionary New Guitar Body Shape at 2018 NAMM Show

At Breedlove, we design and craft the finest sounding, most comfortable playing, hand-crafted guitars. Breedlove unveiled the new Concertina body shape at the 2018 NAMM show the opening morning, surrounded by guitar enthusiasts, players, dealers, media and other attendees. The Concertina, new for 2018, is Breedlove’s small body guitar, delivering a surprisingly clear, crisp, loud sound. It’s 12-frets to the body design make it a joy to play. Extensive Sound Optimization engineering has resulted in a body shape that has a bigger sound and is more comfortable to play than a traditional parlor. Learn more about this body shape.

About the Other Breedlove Distinctive Body Shapes

The Concerto, introduced in 2017, is designed using Sound Optimization to deliver the big, lush sound of larger guitars, while being more comfortable to hold and play. Breedlove maintained the defined waist, while significantly increasing the lower bout sound chamber to enable notes to blossom for a more complex sound than the percussive sound of traditional dreadnoughts.
