This custom Sinker Redwood and Malaysian Blackwood CM acoustic guitar was designed by The Guitar Sanctuary. We do not see a tremendous number of Malaysian Blackwood instruments come through the custom shop, or CM body shapes for that matter! This is a very unique and rare custom acoustic!
About the CM Body Shape
The CM is an award-winning, asymmetrical body shape. One of Breedlove’s most well-known shapes – no other guitar looks or sounds quite like it. The sonic imprint of the CM is uniquely full spectrum and immensely gratifying; the lower bout rewards the player with a generous, defined bass while the abbreviated upper bout generates beautifully balanced and clear treble tones. About Sinker Redwood
Redwood is a dark, beautiful top wood favored by fingerstyle players who appreciate clear upper harmonic content. Sinker redwood is a special type of redwood that comes from logs that were submerged in oxygen-free environments in the bottom of lakes or ocean waters, yielding darker, more striped, and often stiffer and lighter wood. Bold, punchy, crisp tones, with rich, strong overtones. Like a cross between spruce and cedar. Coloration can range from a light pinkish brown to a deep reddish brown. Learn more.
