Gary Morris is renowned for his powerful and unique voice in genres as distinct as country music and the Broadway stage. He is probably best known for his original performance of “Wind Beneath My Wings,” which won both the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music Song of the Year awards. Amidst a wildly successful career in country music, Morris became the first American to assume the leading role of Jean Valjean in Broadway’s Les Misérables. His rendition of “Bring Him Home” anchors the show’s platinum-‐selling Grammy Award-‐winning album. He’s honored to have performed for every US President since Jimmy Carter, as well as a command performance for the Queen of England.
