Inspired by Nature: The Atlantic and Pacific Master Class Acoustic Guitars

Inspired by Nature:

The Master Class Series represents Breedlove's most elaborately appointed standard guitars. Crafted with exotic tone woods and paired with unique shapes to maximize balance, tone and feel – many of these instruments are inspired by the many passions' of the craftsmen. The Pacific and Atlantic models, are inspired by nature. The Pacific's fret board, adorned with inlayed “Sea Leaves,” is suggestive of the flowing kelp beds in the cool west coast waters. While the atlantic, with revival snow flakes inlay, conjures imagery of a cold and blustery winter storm on the Eastern Seaboard, that harden the Adirondack Spruce  and quilted maple, yielding clear resonance and dynamic clarity.

The Atlantic:

The Atlantic model provides the platform for a traditional counterpart to our award winning Pacific Masterclass model. The Atlantic features the highest grades of Quilted Maple for the back and sides and Adirondack Spruce for the top wood. This wood combination allows for the voice of the instrument to ring with exceptionally clear. The treble notes project with a precision while the bass notes ring with a pronounced resonance uncharecteristic in a maple bodied guitar. The OM body shape fits comfortably for all shapes and sizes of people, while the semi-gloss neck and the 1 3/4″ nut width allow for an ease of playability up and down the fretboard. Other appointments include an Ebony fretboard with a New take on the traditional snowflke design, Ebony bridge, Adirondack top bracing, and a Maple neck.

The Pacific:

This stunning combination of Flamed Maple and Sitka Spruce provide a snappy, bright and clear sound that mirrors the beauty of the instrument. The Maple top provides clarity to the treble range that is unparalleled to any other back and side wood.  In combination with the Sitka Spruce top and maple neck, this luminescent guitar boasts a Master Class Flamed Koa binding package.  This shimmering addition really defines this shallow body, soft cutaway guitar.  The concert body shape is the number one selling Breedlove shape for a reason; the smaller comfortable guitar is extremely ergonomically pleasing. Sea Leaves inlay decorates the Ebony fretboard and the rosette is Master Class Abalone.  This instrument simply glows.
