Summer NAMM Review: Breedlove Named “Company to Watch”

Nashville, TN – Last week, Breedlove took Summer NAMM by storm. Breedlove Marketing Director, Ryan Bouslaugh summed up NAMM 2013 best: “The new convention center had a great feel. It was bright, clean and well organized. Our booth was packed! General attendance was up this year and we saw more vendors and buyers than ever before. Everyone agreed: The Breedlove booth looked amazing. Our sleek, clean displays showed off some of the best instruments we’ve ever built.”

To top it all off, Breedlove was awarded “Company to Watch” by the NAMM Best in Show panel. Best in Show distinctions were bestowed upon exhibitors who most impressed the BIS panelists during the annual summer convention. Panelist Donovan Bankhead, vice president, Springfield Music, said, “Owner Tom Bedell wants to build another great American guitar company. He treats his dealers with respect like they are friends and partners. I think he is a great example of how vendors should treat their dealers.”

On Friday night, in honor of NAMM and Breedlove, singer-songwriters Rebecca Moreland, Kamryn Person, Todd Shay and Tyrone Carreker performed for an intimate crowd of dealers and Breedlove friends at a private Breedlove event in Nashville. The three amazingly talented players showcased a few different Breedlove instruments including the Focus SE and Atlas Dreadnought. Rebecca performed her signature soulful acoustic pop, Kamryn brought traditional country with a little classic outlaw thrown in, Todd and his group of studio musicians backed up some of the singers, and Tyrone played a mix of rock and blues.
