This annual tradition allows us to give back and celebrate the vibrant music scene in Central Oregon. Every year, we craft a custom Breedlove guitar specifically for this event, and this year is no different. We’re excited to offer a new, one-of-a-kind guitar as part of the festival’s raffle, continuing our commitment to supporting SFF’s cultural education outreach and programming. About the Custom Breedlove Guitar
Each year, Breedlove Guitars, a valued sponsor and Bend-based company, crafts a special custom guitar for the Sisters Folk Festival raffle. This year’s guitar is no exception:
- Top: Western Red Cedar
- Back & Sides: Figured Myrtlewood
- Finish: Natural gloss
- Binding: Figured Koa with Myrtlewood purfling
- Neck: Sunburst maple
- Fingerboard: Ebony
- Tuners: Gotoh 700 Nickel with Morning Glory Mosaic Pins
- Rosette: Spalted maple with black purfling
Valued at $5,000, this guitar is a beautiful example of Breedlove’s craftsmanship and an exceptional instrument for any player. It also comes with a deluxe hardshell case to ensure it stays protected.
How to Enter the Raffle
Tickets for this year’s raffle will go on sale Wednesday, September 11, at 10:00 am. They’re priced at just $25 each, and only 400 tickets will be sold. You can purchase your tickets online at Sisters Folk Festival Raffle, or in person at the SFF Presents office (204 W. Adams Ave., Suite 101) and at the SFF JAM tent at Village Green during the festival.
Festival Details
The Sisters Folk Festival is set to take place from Friday, September 27 through Sunday, September 29 in Sisters, Oregon. The raffle drawing will happen on Sunday, September 29 at 2:55 p.m. from the Village Green stage. If you’re not able to attend the festival in person, no worries—the winner does not need to be present, and the guitar can be shipped anywhere in the US.
