Breathe in the good. Life is full of complexity and nuance, good times and heaviness. It’s a healthy practice to take stock of your surroundings and to be mindful. This means acknowledging the fact that everything’s not rainbows and sunshine, and it’s also not all a dismal torrential downpour. The latter can be harder to see with clarity from time to time when you’re in it. I took some time in a moment of feeling stretched pretty thin to really take a look around myself, and I found peace in what I saw: I still loved music, and it was still a part of my life. Whether you’re an appreciator or a musician yourself (many of us are both, right?!), I hope that you can pause and find the good in the place you’re in!
