Scott, originally from Indiana, moved to Bend in 2002 after working in construction. He now brings his passion for precision to the neck department at Breedlove, where he takes great pride in crafting meticulous neck blanks to meet exacting specifications.

An avid fly fisherman since the age of 12, Scott enjoys casting his hand-tied flies on the Deschutes River. When he’s not on the water, he can often be found snowboarding at Mt. Bachelor, just 20 miles from Bend. Scott also spends time in his home shop, where he builds items from salvaged wood, including fly boxes and instruments. Though he loves his outdoor pursuits, Scott values his time with his family, who are an important part of his life.

Scott’s favorite sounds are the whir of line spooling off a fly reel and the quiet of fishing, whether it’s summer or winter. His ideal vacation destination is New Zealand, and his favorite view in Bend is from Pilot Butte. A fan of hearty meals, he enjoys a rib-eye at Tumalo Feed Co., and he’s partial to any Central Oregon IPA. His most sentimental possession is his grandfather’s fly rod, a cherished heirloom. When it comes to movies, Four Rooms is one he could watch over and over again.
