Handcrafted in Breedlove’s Custom Shop in Bend, Oregon, this guitar is meticulously hand tuned using the proprietary Sound Optimization® process to ensure perfect tonal balance and resonance. The concert body shape is comfortable to play and delivers great projection. Its elegant Shadowburst finish highlights the natural beauty of the tonewoods, while LR Baggs Anthem electronics ensure that the amplified sound remains true to the guitar’s acoustic character. Western red cedar Top

Softer than spruce, with a warmer cast to its look and its tone, western red cedar has less headroom for a heavy attack, but comes alive—with sweet harmonics and a wide tonal palette—for a lighter touch. Related to mahogany, it shares a focused sound, much loved by fingerstylists.

In addition to its dimensions, we have listed every piece of solid wood used in this model, giving its common name, scientific name and country of origin. We use no clear-cut wood. We salvage fallen timber or individually harvest trees to minimize impact on the forest. You can travel worry free with your Made in Bend Breedlove—no permits are needed.
