Finish

Our finishes are applied to express the character of the woods while not restricting the voice of the instrument. The poly urethane finish on your Breedlove instrument plays a vital role in its sound, look, playability and protection. To keep our finishes as thin as possible we apply four coats of sealer, lightly sand, and then four coats of top coat. To achieve the smooth playability on our Breedlove necks, we hand rub the finish into a smooth feeling semi-gloss. After we are done, each instrument is beautiful to the eye and feels great in your hand.
